The first sip is almost explosive of raisins yet with a very dry after taste. A very bold wine. Great plummy nose with a complex bouquet of dark plums and dark chocolate. An extraordinarily rich wine with a long, fruity finish.
All types of pasta. Meatballs. Goes very well with rich meats stews. Also pairs well with dumplings.
